The team who make the props have been hard at work this week and we have a fabulous throne on top of a platform this evening. It was wonderful to watch people come in and see the attention it received, and naturally they all wanted to try it out! But, Caiphas is the owner of this golden seat\u2026 and how fine and how important he looks sat upon it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The staffs, the pots, the scrolls and Pilate\u2019s desk and seat – all exquisitely made and as authentic as you would expect from a production this professional.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I think what I appreciate most is the level of professionalism from every single person on stage as well as backstage. Each person rehearses over and over exactly where they stand, how they move across the stage, the direction they face, how they exit the stage. This detail exists in the props too\u2026<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
This is a one off performance, it\u2019s not a theatre run, with performances being done over and over – these guys get one shot only to get it absolutely perfect. I can see in their eyes that they will give this everything to make certain it is something the audience remembers for years to come.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This performance brings many many visitors into our small town and we are not afraid to say that the Holy Week performance in Cianciana is the best you will see on the island.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As rehearsals progress, in the background\u2026. is a very talented man creating caricatures of the cast and they are superb. A wonderful way to capture the actors on stage.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I think we are nearly there\u2026 as Jesus so beautifully said \u201cthe light is coming into the world\u201d\u2026 this is the time Cianciana puts itself front and centre and lights up our town: with pride, with celebration, with love and with faith. I\u2019m proud to be a part of it.<\/div>\n

OGGETTI DI SCENA E PROFESSIONALIT\u00c0<\/div>\n
Il team che fa gli oggetti di scena ha lavorato duramente questa settimana e abbiamo un trono favoloso in cima a una piattaforma questa sera. E ‘stato meraviglioso guardare la gente entrare e vedere l’attenzione che ha ricevuto, e naturalmente tutti volevano provarlo! Ma, Caifa \u00e8 il proprietario di questo posto dorato… e quanto bene e quanto importante sembra seduto su di esso.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Il personale, i vasi, le pergamene e Pilato scrivania e sedile – tutto squisitamente fatto e autentico come ci si aspetterebbe da una produzione cos\u00ec professionale.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Penso che quello che apprezzo di pi\u00f9 \u00e8 il livello di professionalit\u00e0 di ogni singola persona sul palco cos\u00ec come dietro le quinte. Ogni persona prova pi\u00f9 e pi\u00f9 volte esattamente dove si trova, come si muovono attraverso il palco, la direzione che affrontano, come escono dal palco. Questo dettaglio esiste anche negli oggetti di scena…<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Questa \u00e8 una rappresentazione di una sola volta, non \u00e8 una performance teatrale come gli spettacoli che vengono fatti pi\u00f9 e pi\u00f9 volte – questi ragazzi hanno una sola possibilit\u00e0 per renderla assolutamente perfetta. Posso vedere nei loro occhi che daranno tutto per assicurarsi che sia qualcosa che il pubblico ricorder\u00e0 per gli anni a venire.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Questa performance porta molti visitatori nella nostra piccola citt\u00e0 e non abbiamo paura di dire che lo spettacolo della Settimana Santa a Cianciana \u00e8 il migliore che vedrete sull’isola.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mentre le prove continuano, sullo sfondo…. c\u2019\u00e8 un uomo di grande talento che disegna caricature del cast e sono eccezionali. Un modo meraviglioso per catturare gli attori sul palco.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Penso che ci siamo quasi… come disse Ges\u00f9 cos\u00ec splendidamente “la luce sta arrivando nel mondo”… questa \u00e8 l’ora in cui Cianciana si mette al centro e illumina la nostra citt\u00e0: con orgoglio, con festa, con amore e con fede. Sono orgogliosa di farne parte.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
